A partnership that works
The collaboration between Tilbox and Alushutter dates back to the founding of Alushutter in 2016. Over the years, this partnership has grown into a strong working relationship, with Alushutter’s aluminium shutter systems becoming an integral part of our storage solutions for trucks and trailers. This long-term cooperation has given us valuable insight into each other’s products, processes and quality standards.
A shared vision
What has always connected Tilbox and Alushutter is a shared vision on quality, attention to detail and the importance of reliable service. Both companies are driven to deliver high-quality products that offer real added value. This makes the acquisition a natural next step. Founder Edwin Kuijpers will continue his entrepreneurial activities with TDS B.V. and will remain involved with Alushutter as an advisor.
In-house production of shutter systems
Alushutter remains Alushutter. In practice, little will change for customers. The brand will continue to operate independently, now under the umbrella of Tilbox B.V. With Alushutter as an addition, we will be able to offer our customers an even more complete portfolio in the future. From storage solutions to shutter systems, everything from a single production location and with the quality you have come to expect from us.
The period ahead
For the next two months, Alushutter’s production will remain at its current location in Eersel. From March 2026 onwards, both brands will come together under one roof at our location in Valkenswaard, John F. Kennedylaan 5.
