This axle box is specially designed to maximize the space between the axles of a vehicle. The box is used to store tools, spare parts, chains, and other materials and supplies that can come in handy on the road. The space between two wheels is often empty, but this model box can make very efficient use of it. This prevents unnecessary loss of cargo space.
The axle box is made of stainless steel with a plate thickness of 2 mm. The mounting plate has a thickness of 3 mm to maintain the strength of the axle box and prevent torsion. The drawer's rail system is very sturdy and has a maximum load capacity of 200 kg. The box is equipped with a T-drop lock to ensure a secure closure of the axle box.
The axle boxes come standard with a removable 4 mm stainless steel strip for items like chains and D shackles. If desired, 6 mm stainless steel chain hooks can be provided at an additional cost, which fit the same hole pattern as the 4 mm strip. Additionally, the axle box features a hole pattern for spray mats.
