This aluminum toolbox is often used as a hitch box, a storage box mounted on the tongue of a trailer or caravan. It serves as a convenient storage space for tools, ropes, tie-down straps, and other essentials that come in handy during travel. For added safety and protection against the elements, the hitch box features a lockable lid.
The sturdy hitch box is available in various sizes. The box is lightweight and is constructed from five-bar aluminum checker plate. The material has a thickness of 1.5/2.5 mm and is non-stained. The entire length of the lid is equipped with a robust stainless steel piano hinge. A gas strut smoothly opens the lid up to 65 degrees, reducing wear and damage to the box.
A rubber gasket is mounted around the box's opening to ensure splash water resistance. Additionally, the aluminum toolbox is CE certified and features a secure and reliable T-drop lock for optimal theft protection.
